Central Park, New York City
Aug. 19th, 2012 03:41 pmIt was raining, and there were few places Robin liked better these days in the rain, than Central Park. And it made for a great "first date" with Anastasia for their reunion after Summer Break.
He had regaled her with tales of Umbrage week, and of his trip to Japan with Momoko.
"And now here you are back in boring old New York." she smirked.
Robin giggled. "There's nowhere I'd rather be." he assured her.
"Really?"
"Really. Between the company, the park, and the weather, well..." He hopped out from underneath her umbrella to the back of a bench. There he did a simple balance walk while idly singing wordlessly, if not tunelessly.
"Well what?" she asked him.
"Well, I'm singin' in the rain,
Just singin' in the rain!
What a glorious feelin', I'm happy again."
"I walk down the lane," she joined in,
"With a happy refrain.
Just singing, just singing in the rain!"
