But no matter! See folks in costumes ranging from steam punk, to rip off's of pirate movie block busters! From anally authentic renaissance garb, to...three mustketeers? And was that one of those aliens from Galaxy Quest? The hell? Corsets and kilts galore!

Eat wonderful food like steak on a stake! Massive turkey legs that cost way too much! Mac and cheese, or even soup on a stick! No I'm not kidding!

See amazing acts like the Medeival Babes, The Limeybirds, The Rogues, Puke and Snotone of the Mun's favorites, and Hack N Slash!

And lest we forget, JOUSTING! Where it's more about WWE type crowd riling than about actual jousting. Carnival games! A museum of the bizarre and the mysterious!

Corsets and kilts! And pirates!

And of course, the shopping. From decorative knick knacks, to costume pieces and ornamental weaponry. From wood carved furniture to armorers to family coats of arms.

And did I mention, Corsets, Kilts and Pirates?! Huzzah!

[Mun is now very sad that he can't afford to go this year. Open to all, students, townies and faculty. If you've ever been to a Ren Faire, have at it and I'll toss in some NPC's to make it whimsical. And if you haven't, I will anyway!

Eleanor watched with interest then gasped when the man moved away so she could see it all. "Oh! It's beautiful!"

The young man, dressed like a gypsy, backed up, and provided Leda with a mirror.

"Transcendent." she smiled happily.

"I'm pleased you like it milady."

"Transcendent?" Eleanor smirked as the man came over to her next. He worked out a pattern of orange, blue and red flames that ran down her cheeks and up around her eyes.

"It's something a...well he never got to be a friend cause we didn't know each other long, but he said that once. Some poem by...I forget who got put to music, and he described it as 'too transcendent'."

She looked at the design. "Oh god that's gorgeous."

"Hmm, I think I shall have to look that word up," she said with a smirk. The man handed her the mirror with a flourish and Eleanor gasped in surprise. "Oh my. That is lovely!" She blushed. "Thank you."

"What shall we do next?" she asked Leda, getting up from the chair.

Leda reached out to take her hand. "Uhm...flirt with shirtless boys? Or go shopping for cool stuff?"

"How about shopping?" Not that flirting didn't sound bad, but she'd rather flirt with people she knew. But she wasn't exactly going to mention that part.

"Shopping sounds great! Uhmmm...let's start with...clothes." But even then where to start? Well there was a shop that had a bit of everything. Leather clothes, gowns, costumes, boots, hats, even masks.

And that would be where Eleanor was headed. "Let's try here. They seem to have some nice dresses."

"Works for me. Those hats are tempting too, but I've already got one of those."

"What?" she glanced at the hats. "One of those cavalier styles?" which the mun was very tempted to get during a trip to the very same renfair

"Yeah." Leda nodded. "But I'd need a good outfit to go with it." this mun has kinda wanted one for a long time himself.

"Hmmm..." Eleanor went through some of the racks. "How about this?" She held up a poet's style shirt with a leather bodice and flowing skirt. "You could be like a pirate queen."

"Ooooohh." Leda mused, looking at the outfit. "Nice. You're really good at this."

"No I'm not," she said, but blushing at the compliment.

"Are so. And for you, how about..." Leda looked at the racks a bit, then found a lovely green gown. "This?"

"Go try it on." Leda insisted.

"All right," she grinned, taking the dress to the back. She emerged a few moments later, the dress hugging all the right parts. "What do you think?" she asked, twirling a bit.

Leda actually gaped for a minute. "I think I have very good taste." she giggled. "It looks wondrous."

"Then I shall get it," she said with a hint of blush.

"I think we're shaping up to be the best looking girls at this fair."

She grinned. "I think so too."
